WHY THE BIRCHES?

The Birches on Maple

Planning for your senior years is a smart way to ensure your continued independence and meeting your care needs. And that’s just what Tanner is planning with the region’s newest life plan community: The Birches on Maple.

We’re building a new regional concept in senior living — with substantial greenspace, on-premises clubhouse, gym, pool, play courts and more.

The planned life community model allows seniors to choose the level of independence most comfortable for them in a safe village.

The Birches on Maple will offer freestanding, single-owner homes with different floorplans for active and independent living.

Residents in the active living development will also receive priority access to the community’s independent and assisted living apartments, as well as memory care services as needed.

Senior Living, the Tanner Way

A fully integrated part of Tanner Health System with ready access to Tanner’s uncompromising level of quality health care, Tanner Primary Care at The Birches is set to open its doors in late summer/early fall 2024, bringing a dedicated and traditional primary care clinic to the heart of the community. Operating Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the clinic will be available to the public, but will also reserve spots exclusively for Birches patients. This addition aims to provide personalized and accessible medical services, fostering a healthier and happier community for all.

Residents will also benefit from our exclusive Get Healthy, Live Well initiative, with evidence-based programs to prevent and control chronic disease and help them stay active and healthy.

The Birches on Maple is also convenient to the Carrollton GreenBeltSunset Hills Country ClubCity Station, the University of West Georgia and downtown Carrollton. Proximity to Maple Street Commons also makes it easy for our residents to shop at a full-service grocery store, enjoy restaurants and visit other retailers.
